Honorary Degrees Chichester University - October 2008 The University of Chichester awarded Honorary Master of Arts in appreciation of public service to Diana Levantine and Kate Shaw.
Civic Awards - February 2008 Kate Shaw and Diana Levantine (Co-founders) were given Civic Awards by the Mayor and Councillors of Chichester Council.
Paul Harris Award Chichester Harbour Rotary Club The Paul Harris Fellowship Award was presented to Kate Shaw and Di Levantine, this is one of the highest honors Rotary can bestow upon a person. Awarded to community professionals in recognition of their outstanding contributions, exemplifying the highest ideal in Rotary in placing Service above Self.
Queens Award- 2005
The Lord Lieutenant of Sussex, Hugh Wyatt, presented the Queens Award for Voluntary Services to Kate Shaw and Di Levantine, at Edes House, Chichester. They had been nominated by local people for their tireless and voluntary management of the charity over the previous 12 years. Di and Kate dedicated the Award to the Snowdrop Volunteers who worked in many different ways for the charity, and to the exceptional Snowdrop Committee, many of whom have been members since the charity founded in 1992.
As part of the Queen's Award Di and Kate were invited to Buckingham Palace for tea, and they took Jill Ridgers, a Snowdrop Trust Committee Member and Audrey Sampey, a Snowdrop Family volunteer, along with them.
